America’s Got Talent 2016
If you are a regular watcher of the English programs in local television channels, I am sure you won’t miss to watch the popular show called “America’s Got Talent”. TVB Pearl is currently rebroadcasting the 2015 version which is the 10th season, also marking the 10th anniversary of the show every Saturday and Sunday evening at 8:30 pm.

The Loyal Browsers
You might remember that I once revealed I keep the habit of gathering the statistics of the click rate of each column of this website on daily basis and I noticed instead of the fact that the last message I left in this corner has been 2 and a half months old, the number of people that surf this corner everyday maintain in the minimum figure of 5 persons, whom I would call「loyal browsers」。
Five is a low figure, however these「loyal browsers」have in a sense shown that this corner does have precious followers and the necessity of keeping it moving on. As the only person so far that stick to pasting something occasionally, I am moved by the passion shown by these「loyal browsers」and determined to more frequently update the content of this English corner, just for the sake of keeping it alive.

The Damp Weather！
“What a damp weather！” ,”What a foggy day！”are probably the right expressions to depict the current weather situation in Hong Kong, which make the people in the community feel unpleasant. Just look at the phenomena that happened in our recent daily life: the clothes you washed won’t get dry for a couple of days ; the walls and floors are watery ; there are moldy spots appeared here and there in the kitchen and bathroom,etc.
In refreshing my memory, I don’t recall that the high humidity of over 95% has ever lasted for such a long successive days here in Hong Kong. What’s more the dragging rains, the overcast sky make one feel down. Don’t you think the current weather in
Hong Kong is so annoying！
‘Damp’ and ‘Damn’ sound almost the same, but please don’t misread it as “The damn weather！”.

Return of the ‘Devil’ Cold Wave (倒春寒)
Again the weather in Hong Kong has become one of the key news in the media that makes the public feel unpleasant due to that commencing from yesterday the temperature in Hong Kong dropped again to 9 degree Celcius the lowest , with that in the new territories even lower for an extent of 2-3 degrees Celcius . What a weather！
I really don’t know how to describe the weather in Hong Kong for this winter. Probably I can put it as ”very annoying”, for there was either too much rain , too dry caused by too low humidity or too damp because of too high a humidity up to 99%. What a weather！
